Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking an Associate Supervisor to assist the Communications Manager in overseeing the Communication Center during scheduled shifts. You will deploy team members, delegate tasks, coach staff, and ensure a positive environment in line with company values.

You will lead staffing decisions, resolve customer inquiries per escalation processes, and promote operational excellence while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards across all daily activities.

Qualifications

• 12 months of experience in a role requiring constant customer interaction (call center, retail).
• At least 6 months of directing others, coordinating tasks for 2+ team members in a call center, service, or retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and plan operational goals and monitor implementation.
• Be accountable for center operations while managing a shift.
• Resolve customer questions and problems per established escalation processes.
• Provide input into staffing levels to ensure team development and talent acquisition.
• Coach and direct the team to achieve operational goals.
• Demonstrate calm demeanor during high volume periods and transitions.
• Support compliance with governmental, regulatory and accreditation standards.
