The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) is currently seeking a Communications Associate to join its Communications team. In this role, the Communications Associate will perform a variety of programmatic duties in support of the Communications Department. They will work closely with the Communications staff to support departmental tasks and support the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team on DEI related initiatives.
Reporting to the Manager, Integrated Comms and Social Media, the Communications Associate is responsible for the following:
The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional background, with a minimum of three years of experience in a professional or healthcare setting. Experience working with HTML Code (or other web editing software) as well as Umbraco is required.
To succeed in this role, one must have exceptional written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to interface with all levels of staff. They must also have the ability to work independently and within a team. An individual with strong organizational skills will flourish in this role.
This role requires an on-site office presence at least two days per week. ABIM offices are located in the historic section of Philadelphia, 510 Walnut Street, Suite 1700. Our technology and workplace operations teams provide for and support a seamless hybrid work environment for all ABIM employees.
