Working closely with the Communications Manager, the Communications Associate ensures internal communications are timely, clear, and consistent, while providing valuable administrative and operational support for ongoing campaigns and initiatives that reinforce company culture and align with organizational goals.

Candidates will be asked to submit sample communications materials if invited to interview. Please be prepared to share no more than 4 items created--primarily or in whole--by you. Samples should showcase your skills in copywriting and creative design. Examples may include a newsletter, email, webpage, digital signage, or other print or digital collateral. Materials created for a real campaign or concept pieces are equally acceptable, and each must include a brief explanation of the communication's context and goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  2. Help manage lists and assist with scheduling for internal communications channels such as all staff emails.
  3. Ensure content on all internal channels (including intranet, message boards or printed flyers, and TV digital signage) is maintained up to date-scheduling and removing content as necessary.
Event Support
  • Assist with execution of internal events such as town halls, all staff meetings, and celebrations.
Brand Alignment
  1. Help ensure all internal messaging aligns with company's brand guidelines in tone, voice, and values.
  2. Help maintain internal brand toolkit, support staff adherence to brand standards through the creation of graphics, icons, and other creatives as necessary.
Education, Experience and Training
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related field required. Extensive work experience may be substituted for education requirements.
