Job summary

Mobile Communications America, Inc. (MCA) is seeking a Communication Systems Technician in Lawrenceville, GA to install, program, and maintain complex wireless and data systems for mission-critical customers.

You will design and upgrade systems, collaborate with the team and customers, and provide 24/7 support as part of an on-call rotation. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of field experience, two-year degree in Electronics/IT, and familiarity with P25/MotoTRBO.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience diagnosing, repairing, programming and installing mobile communications equipment.
• Willingness to learn and mentor on new technology in communications and equipment.
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check, motor vehicle check and drug screen.
• Experience with P25 and MotoTRBO is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installing, programming, and maintaining complex communication equipment.
• Restoring systems to public safety, hospitals, utilities, manufacturing, and other customers.
• Designing and upgrading customer systems with latest technologies.
• Collaborating with the Service Manager and customer.
• Completing assigned tickets properly and on time.
• Making minor circuitry modifications and deploying firmware updates.
• Serving in an on-call rotation with 24/7 support.
