An established industry player is seeking an Accreditation Manager to oversee compliance with accreditation standards. Description: This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of accreditation standards. You will work closely with various departments and agencies to ensure compliance and maintain expertise in interpreting regulations and standards. You will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring accreditation files to ensure they are up-to-date and in compliance with all relevant standards. Utilizing your strong analytical skills, you will review and recommend changes to department directives and regulations to maintain the department's compliance with accreditation standards. You will also be responsible for reviewing all new and revised policies and procedures to assess their impact on the department's accreditation status. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing reports related to the department's accreditation.
In this role, you will serve as the agency representative during accreditation standards compliance audits. You will also attend and actively engage in conferences and meetings. In addition, you will assist executive staff in the preparation and conduct of accreditation hearings, as well as manage subordinate staff and accreditation contact persons.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment (37.5 hours per week)
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: This position does not offer telework.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Legal Requirements:
A conditional offer of employment will require submission of criminal history reports. You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
Additional Requirements:
This position requires possession of a current driver's license which is not under suspension.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Qualifications:
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as an Administrative Officer 1; or
Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
Is a current Assessor for Commission on the Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA).
Is a current Assessor for Pennsylvania Law Enforcement Accreditation Commission (PLEAC).
