This is a rewarding full-time position for a detail-oriented and organized professional who will oversee and manage administrative functions of the unit. This role involves managing incident data, developing, and maintaining reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating with various agencies and organizations to uphold program standards. As an Administrative Officer 1, proficiency in data analysis and report generation is essential, as well as having a strong understanding of policies and regulations related to developmental programs. You will be expected to have excellent communication and coordination skills, the ability to work independently, and efficiently handle multiple responsibilities.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment.
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Often irregular hours, including evenings.
  • Employees may have overnight travel or out of County travel for meetings or training.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • Hiring preference for this vacancy may be given to candidates who live within Pike, Monroe, Susquehanna, Lackawanna, or Wayne counties. If no eligible candidates who live within these counties apply for this position, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

  • You must pass a background investigation.
  • A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
    • Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
