Job summary

The St. Joe Company operates The St. Joe Resort Operations LLC and seeks a diligent Common Area Attendant to maintain the cleanliness of lobby, public spaces, restrooms, spa facilities, and the pool deck. You will also assist with cleaning of adjacent areas and stock amenities.

Ideal candidates are detail oriented, with basic English, able to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours as part of a friendly team dedicated to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Able to read product labels and communicate with guests about needs.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible hours and reliable attendance required.
• Basic English communication skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean lobby and all public spaces.
• Clean hotel and employee restrooms (trash, mirrors, restock items).
• Clean behind front desk and back offices.
• Clean windows, walls, and doors.
• Clean outside of building; remove trash and debris.
• Clean conference rooms; ensure tidiness.
• Clean employee break room.
• Clean spa facilities, restrooms, showers and treatment rooms.
• Empty trash cans; stock amenities in appropriate areas.
• Refill dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper & soap.
• Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms.
• Always greet guests in a courteous manner.
• Report any damages or repairs to management.
• Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager.
• All other duties as assigned.

Job SummaryThe Common Area Attendant is responsible for keeping all common guest areas such as the lobby, elevators, floor hallways, glass doors/ windows, stairwells, concierge lounge and the bathrooms clean and up to company standards at all times.
