Job summary

The St. Joe Company in Camp Creek Resort, FL is seeking a Common Area Attendant to keep lobby, public spaces, and spa areas clean to company standards. You will also maintain restrooms, conference rooms, and the pool deck areas, while stocking supplies and greeting guests.

Responsibilities include cleaning windows, doors, and hallways, reporting damages, and assisting with housekeeping operations as needed. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs
• Ability to read, write, speak, and communicate in basic English preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Clean lobby and all public spaces
• Clean hotel and employee restrooms (empty sanitary feminine trash cans, clean mirrors, restock items, etc.)
• Clean behind front desk and back offices
• Clean windows, walls, and doors
• Clean outside of building keeping it free of trash and debris
• Clean conference rooms ensuring tidiness and chairs arranged
• Clean employee break room
• Clean spa facilities, restrooms, showers and treatment rooms
• Empty trash cans
• Stock all amenities in appropriate areas
• Responsible for maintaining the appropriate level of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas
• Refill all dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper & hand soap
• Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms
• Always greet guests in a courteous and pleasant way
• Report any damages or repairs needed to management
• Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager
• All other duties as assigned

Job Summary

The Common Area Attendant is responsible for keeping all common guest areas such as the lobby, elevators, floor hallways, glass doors/ windows, stairwells, concierge lounge and the bathrooms clean and up to company standards at all times. This role is always responsible to maintain the cleanliness of surrounding areas such as the Spa and fitness center and assist in the cleanliness of the Pool Deck.

Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions

• Clean lobby and all public spaces


• Clean hotel and employee restrooms (empty sanitary feminine trash cans, clean mirrors, restock items, etc.)


• Clean behind front desk and back offices


• Clean windows, walls, and doors


• Clean outside of building keeping it free of trash and debris

Working Conditions

• Indoors and/or outdoors


• Exposure to cleaning chemicals (with PPE)


• Possible exposure to a somewhat noisy environment


• Possible exposure to bodily waste
