Job summary

Riva Recruiting in Houston is seeking a commodities middle-office professional to own the full post-trade lifecycle—from validation to settlement and reconciliations across listed, OTC, and physical markets.

You'll manage daily position/cash reconciliations, handle option exercises and expiries, onboard counterparties, and drive process improvements in a lean team with broad product exposure and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years in commodities middle office, trade support or operations.
• Hands-on with exchange-traded and OTC commodities; physical/warehouse exposure is a plus.
• Strong numerical skills and comfort with product math.
• Clear communicator who works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full post-trade lifecycle: validation, affirmation, settlement and reconciliation.
• Handle daily position and cash recs, and same-day exception management.
• Oversee option exercises, assignments and expiries.
• Onboard new counterparties and exchanges as the business grows.
