Job summary

TURBINE-X Energy, Inc. seeks a skilled Commissioning Technician – Operator to advance electrical, mechanical, and control system work on turbine projects on site in Willis, TX.

You will troubleshoot, commission, and optimize complex equipment while training others and upholding safety and SOPs. The role emphasizes hands-on diagnostics of high/low voltage systems, mechanical alignment of turbines and gearboxes, and PLC/HMI/SCADA programming with documentation updates.

Qualifications

• Experience with turbine components, industrial equipment, or energy sector assembly.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (Yellow or Green Belt).
• Equipment-specific training and certifications (e.g., Waukesha, Rosemount Certification).
• Familiarity with ISO standards and quality assurance protocols.
• Experience with turbine genset packaging or similar high-voltage equipment.
• Forklift or Overhead Crane Certification.
• Completion of a pipefitting or millwright apprenticeship.
• NCCER Pipefitter or Millwright Certification.
• Experience in turbine genset packaging or oil & gas skid fabrication.
• Familiarity with ASME B31.3, API, and OSHA standards.
• OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour General Industry Certification.
• Basic Rigging and Lifting Safety Training.
• Confin ed Space Entry Certification.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Systems: Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on high- and low-voltage systems.
• Mechanical Systems: Assemble, align, and test turbines, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulic systems.
• Controls and Automation: Program, calibrate, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
