Caterpillar's Solar Turbines unit seeks a Commissioning Specialist to lead start-up activities on assigned projects in Mabank, TX. You will coordinate with on-site teams and leadership to keep schedules tight and costs controlled, while delivering reliable commissioning documentation and part-tracking records.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree required.
• Experience with turbomachinery or Solar Turbines packages preferred.
• Ability to interpret package drawings (electrical, mechanical).
• Strong troubleshooting and data/document management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning start-up activities and act as primary solutions expert.
• Coordinate with field personnel and leadership to keep projects on schedule.
• Prepare commissioning dossiers and maintain cost and parts records.
• Develop procedures for commissioning and ensure customer acceptance.
