Job summary

Verto People is seeking an I&C Commissioning Engineer to support commissioning and startup on a power generation project in Texas. You will represent the owner, oversee testing of instrumentation and control systems, and help resolve startup issues.

Responsibilities include reviewing procedures, witnessing calibrations and functional tests, and ensuring systems are ready for handover. A veteran candidate with strong recording and problem-solving skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of I&C commissioning experience in power generation or process plants.
• Practical experience with distributed control systems and turbine controls.
• Working knowledge of ISA standards.
• Confidence reviewing test documentation and maintaining clear commissioning records.
• An engineering degree or equivalent field experience.
