Job summary

Edison Smart® is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning process for a major hyperscale data centre project in Atlanta, GA. You will oversee pre-functional testing through IST, ensuring safety, quality, and timely handover to the client.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Commissioning Manager on data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, CRAHs, AHUs, BMS and associated critical infrastructure.
• Experience leading commissioning from installation through final handover.
• Knowledge of Level 1–5 commissioning processes and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Track commissioning progress, manage punch lists, and drive issue resolution through to completion.
• Ensure commissioning activities are completed safely and in accordance with project schedules and client requirements.
• Attend client meetings and provide regular progress updates throughout the commissioning phase.
• Support project turnover and final handover documentation.
