Job summary

Hooper is seeking a Commissioning Agent to lead commissioning for HVAC, process piping, plumbing, and fire protection systems on active construction sites. The role involves resolving commissioning challenges, performing functional tests, and ensuring system performance across varied loads and scenarios.

The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, an associate degree or apprenticeship in a construction field, and strong knowledge of codes, with proficiency in Excel,

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience with building systems across disciplines (fire protection, HVAC, process piping, plumbing).
• Experience with data center projects preferred.
• Knowledge of codes and regulations relevant to construction/commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute commissioning of HVAC, process piping, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Resolve commissioning challenges and execute assigned tasks.
• Perform tests including FPT and IST.
• Document deficiencies and verify system performance under load/failure scenarios.
• Develop and implement commissioning process delivery plans for projects.
