• Prepare a presentation for leadership at internship completion.

The Role:

Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to join our Projects team for the Summer of 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in mechanical system troubleshooting, quality control, and start‑up. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, develop valuable skills, and contribute to our continued success.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with our Project Closeout Technical Support Manager
• Learn the different parts of HVAC, Plumbing, and Piping systems and startup procedures
• Support field operations with any technical issues that arise
• Visit job sites when required to test/troubleshoot any issues
• Team building with Commissioning team and other interns
• Prepare presentation for Leadership at the completion of the internship

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-first mindset
• Desire to learn and grow
• Transportation and ability to commute to the Altavista Offices and our job sites
• Great sense of humor
