Job summary

Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to join our Projects team for the Summer of 2027 in Altavista, VA. This internship offers hands-on experience analyzing processes within operations and recommending improvements to multiple workflows and procedures.

The ideal candidate is an undergraduate student in Business Management or Construction Management with strong MS Office and communication skills, capable of independent work, and eager to learn.

Qualifications

• Undergrad student pursuing a degree in Business Management or Construction Management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to the team.
• Must be able to commute to Altavista Offices and job sites.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department leaders to analyze data and document procedures.
• Analyze current processes and procedures, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows.
• Strategize for events/items to maintain and boost team morale.
• Interact respectfully and productively with all stakeholders regardless of background.
• Prepare a presentation for Leadership at internship completion.

• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
