Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to create complete commissioning plans, budgets and on-site training, coordinating with project teams to meet owner and equipment requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical Engineering or AS degree with 3–12 years of related experience, travels 20–40%, and is proficient in PC and Microsoft Office; NEC knowledge is essential, with ability to read schematics and drawings.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–8 years of related experience; or 5–12 years with Associate degree.
• Travel: 20–40%.
• PC proficiency and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read one-lines, schematics & drawings.
• Knowledge of electrical terminology and components.
• Knowledge of the NEC is required.

Aufgaben

• Work with Preconstruction Managers and Project Managers at the beginning of projects to define Cx requirements and establish plans to complete commissioning documentation and other deliverables.
• Create LOTO plans and start-up scripts according to customer requirements and specifications.
• Develop detailed procedures, checklists and commissioning test scripts to document equipment performance to specifications.
• Assist Commissioning Site Lead with establishing structure and training for implementing LOTO and start-up scripts.
• Conduct field surveys, collect and enter data to ensure equipment conforms to operational standards and customer requirements.
• Provide support material or reports to Project Managers as required.
• Provide reports that document the equipment functions to applicable standards as well as customer requirements.
• Provide support for field commissioning activities through research and addressing needs during the commissioning process.
• Provide guidance to office and field teams to ensure start-up activities comply with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
• Work closely with the Safety department to develop Lockout / Tagout procedures and integrate them into commissioning procedures.
• Participates in customer / project interviews.
• Provide training for other technical personnel where applicable.
• Certifies Commissioning Site Leads.
• Assist Commissioning Manager with establishing project commissioning budgets.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
