Job summary

Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and hands-on commissioning experience. English is required; German is a plus. Willingness to travel extensively; flexible work-from-home options available.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Systems Engineering, or related field.
Experience commissioning automated systems and equipment.
Proficiency in PLC programming (SIMATIC S7, TIA Portal) and HMI configuration (ICONICS, WinCC).
Knowledge of PROFIBUS, PROFINET and DeviceNet networks; MS Office proficiency.
English required; German preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the commissioning of advanced machinery and integration into existing systems.
Monitor and optimize automation processes for peak performance.
Perform acceptance tests and implement corrective actions.
Document test results, develop checklists, and maintain error logs.
Modify wiring diagrams on-site to meet evolving requirements.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
