SIBLING is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead the on-site start-up of complex automation projects for clients in food, beverage and pharma sectors across the United States. You will collaborate with customer teams to ensure a smooth transition from install to full operation and deliver practical commissioning solutions.

Travel up to 75% across the USA is expected. You will set up, test, and validate systems, provide troubleshooting, train staff, and deliver comprehensive project reports.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Experience installing/commissioning automated systems.
• Willing to travel up to 75% across the USA.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, configure, interface, and integrate the automated warehouse system with Warehouse Control Systems and client IT.
• Complete the commissioning process (preparation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, Go Live, reporting and signoff).
• PLC software configuration and live testing.
• Work on electrical, mechanical, PLC configuration, communication protocols, sensors and instrumentation, and safety devices.
• Travel to customer sites including cold storage facilities and at heights with appropriate safety gear.
• Act as commissioning expert, supporting on-site and remote troubleshooting during commissioning, go-live, and aftersales interventions.
• Create and deliver comprehensive reports and technical procedures upon project completion.
• Identify and solve technical challenges, providing recommendations for system optimization.
• Train integrators, customer maintenance staff, and operative staff.
• Share technical expertise with team members and pursue continuous training.

We're looking for a Commissioning Engineer to play a key role in bringing complex automation projects to life for our clients. You'll be responsible for getting sophisticated automated systems up and running on-site, working closely with customer teams to ensure a smooth transition from installation to full operation. Our clients are typically well-established names in the food & beverage and pharmaceutical sectors, with facilities located throughout the United States.

Requirements

• Technical experience installing/commissioning automated systems, ideally in the material handling/automation/robotics field.
• Strong working knowledge of electromechanical, robotic, and automated systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ideally Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, or Controls Engineering, is required.
• Willing and able to travel to project sites across the USA upto 75% of the time.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with PLC programming, VFD configuration, and/or conveyor systems.
• some experience with programming languages and command line terminals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work at a variety of customer sites, including cold storage facilities and at heights (walking in racking at different levels, always with appropriate safety gear/measures).
• Act as a commissioning expert, supporting on-site and remote troubleshooting during commissioning, go-live, and when assisting service engineers during aftersales interventions.
• Create and deliver comprehensive reports and technical procedures upon project completion.
• Identify and solve technical challenges, providing recommendations for system optimization.
• Train integrators, customer maintenance staff, and operative staff.
• Share technical expertise with team members and participate in continuous training and skill development.
• Identify and report commercial service opportunities at current clients to management.
