Job summary

BM-Tech Group Inc. seeks an engineer to lead the commissioning of advanced machinery and ensure seamless integration into existing systems. You will monitor automation performance and conduct acceptance tests, documenting results with precision.

Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and hands-on commissioning experience. English is required; German is a plus. Willingness to travel extensively; flexible work-from-home options available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience commissioning automated systems and equipment.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (SIMATIC S7, TIA Portal) and HMI configuration (ICONICS, WinCC).
  • Knowledge of PROFIBUS, PROFINET and DeviceNet networks; MS Office proficiency.
  • English required; German preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the commissioning of advanced machinery and integration into existing systems.
  • Monitor and optimize automation processes for peak performance.
  • Perform acceptance tests and implement corrective actions.
  • Document test results, develop checklists, and maintain error logs.
  • Modify wiring diagrams on-site to meet evolving requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.

Your Responsibilities
  • Integrate Systems: Lead the commissioning of advanced machinery, ensuring seamless integration into existing frameworks.
  • Optimize Automation: Monitor and refine automation processes for peak performance.
  • Ensure Quality: Conduct acceptance tests and implement corrective measures to uphold high standards.
  • Document Processes: Develop checklists, perform equipment tests, and maintain error logs with precision.
  • Adapt Technical Designs: Modify wiring diagrams on-site to meet evolving requirements.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to industry regulations and quality standards.
Your Qualifications
  • Technical expertise: a Bachelor’s (minimum) or Master’s (preferred) degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • Hands‑on experience: Proven ability in commissioning automated systems and equipment.
  • Programming skills: Proficiency in PLC programming (SIMATIC S7 TIA Portal, Beckhoff); HMI configuration (ICONICS, WinCC) a plus.
  • Systems knowledge: Strong understanding of networks such as PROFIBUS, PROFINET, and DeviceNet. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
  • Language skills: Proficiency in English (required) and/or German (preferred).
  • Communication & Problem‑solving: Strong intrapersonal skills, analytical abilities, and attention to quality.
  • Independence: Capable of managing tasks autonomously.
  • Team-oriented: Collaborative team player, with a well‑rounded approach.
  • Global mobility: Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively (up to 98%).
