Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an Installation & Commissioning Engineer to drive ESS installation and commissioning activities across the Americas. Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities for Field Service Engineers, Technicians, and subcontractors performing installation and commissioning tasks.
• Create project commissioning plans for ESS projects in the Americas region.
• Develop and maintain ESS I&C standard documentation (scope of work, training, safety requirements).
• Select, train, and qualify subcontractors for I&C work with ESS Sourcing.
• Develop RFQ packages for I&C subcontracts; liaise with Sourcing and Legal teams on contracts.
• Provide feedback to Quality and Engineering to identify trends; support corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to field personnel and subcontractors.
• Promote a safety-first culture across I&C processes and execution activities.
• Collaborate with ESS Quality and Safety Managers.

Job description

The Installation & Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for the development of ESS installation and commissioning processes, procedures/work instructions, plans, and coordination with field personnel and third-party suppliers of I&C scope of work for Battery Energy Storage installations. Liaise with ESS Sourcing and Project Managers to ensure project commissioning requirements are met on time and within budget. Coordinate with ESS Quality & Safety managers to drive a "safety first" culture throughout the project during the I&C phase. Provide feedback to Quality and Engineering on issues discovered in the field, and support Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action plans to support Continuous Improvement activities.

Requirement:

• BS degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline with supporting experience demonstrating electrical controls engineering competencies. Extensive industrial experience may be considered as an alternative to a bachelor's degree.
• A minimum of 10 years Engineering experience
• Experience leading Installation & Commissioning of industrial projects in the Power Generation/Energy field. Management of technical team.
• Battery product knowledge.

• Collaborate with ESS Quality and Safety Managers.
