Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking an Installation & Commissioning Engineer to drive ESS installation and commissioning activities across the Americas. The role requires coordinating field teams and subcontractors, developing commissioning plans, and maintaining I&C documentation to meet project requirements on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline (or extensive equivalent experience).
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience.
• Experience leading installation & commissioning of industrial projects in Power Generation/Energy; management of technical team.
• Battery product knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities for Field Service Engineers, Technicians, and subcontractors performing installation and commissioning tasks.
• Create project commissioning plans for ESS projects in the Americas region.
• Develop and maintain ESS I&C standard documentation (scope of work, training, safety requirements).
• Select, train, and qualify subcontractors for I&C work with ESS Sourcing.
• Develop RFQ packages for I&C subcontracts; liaise with Sourcing and Legal teams on contracts.
• Provide feedback to Quality and Engineering to identify trends; support corrective actions.
• Provide technical support to field personnel and subcontractors.
• Promote a safety-first culture across I&C processes and execution activities.
• Collaborate with ESS Quality and Safety Managers.
