Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Representative to manage a dedicated route, delivering and picking garments daily while building strong customer relationships. You will support daily operations, ensure on-time service, and identify upsell opportunities to grow the route.

This field-based role emphasizes safety, reliability, and the ability to work independently on a consistent, Monday–Friday daytime schedule across Sacramento, CA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience in customer service, route sales or delivery is a plus.
• Comfort with learning new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage an Assigned Route: primary contact for customers, deliver and pick garments daily.
• Support Daily Operations: assist service team with loading/unloading route trucks.
• Deliver Consistent, Reliable Service: on-time deliveries and returns with high customer satisfaction.
• Grow Customer Relationships: build rapport and introduce new garments/products to customers.
• Drive Sales Growth: identify upsell opportunities and grow route revenue.
• Represent UniFirst on the Road: operate company truck on designated routes with safety in mind.
• Engage in a Physically Active Role: work indoors and outdoors with energy and attention to safety.
• Contribute to Service Excellence: troubleshoot issues, manage inventory, ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain a Predictable Schedule: Monday–Friday daytime hours, same route each week.
