Job summary

American Business Forms Inc is seeking a Commission Specialist to ensure accurate commission and rebate calculations across our systems and agreements. You will validate daily results, resolve discrepancies, and maintain related reports and processes to support financial controls and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with five years experience in business, accounting and/or finance
• Preferred: Associate degree in accounting with related experience
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/GL software

Responsibilities

• Complete validations and daily system processes to populate commission results.
• Analyze daily data results and correct miscalculations; maintain reports.
• Prepare and process manual commission entries as required.
• Implement and maintain rebate and GP split agreements with approvals.
• Partner with Sales for optimal commission structures and non-standard rebates.
• Assist SOS and ACES with rebate options, setup, reporting and payments.
• Administer commission setup for onboarding and offboarding.
• Maintain reporting related to associate acquisition payments.
• Respond to inquiries about commissions, expenses, ledgers, payroll and related matters.
• Assist with testing and validation of system enhancements and projects.
• Manage daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc tasks related to commissions and rebates.
