Role Description

This full-time, on-site Commission Sales Associate role is based in Greater Houston and focuses on driving new business and supporting existing clients for Joshua Tree Experts’ outdoor care services. Day-to-day, the Sales Associate will prospect and follow up on leads, conduct property visits to understand client needs, and prepare proposals for tree care, lawn care, and pest control services. The role includes explaining service options, pricing, and scheduling, as well as maintaining accurate records in the company’s CRM and following up to ensure client satisfaction. The Sales Associate will collaborate closely with operations teams to coordinate service delivery, attend local events or networking opportunities to generate leads, and consistently work toward meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Qualifications

• Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including clear presentation of service options and pricing.
• Basic understanding or interest in tree care, lawn care, and pest control services, with willingness to learn technical details.
• Comfort with on-site property assessments, including walking outdoor areas and identifying potential service needs.
• Proficiency with CRM or sales tracking tools, email, and standard office software.
• Self-motivated approach with a results-oriented mindset and ability to work independently while collaborating with service teams.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation for local travel in Greater Houston, and ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Previous experience in commission-based sales, home services, landscaping, or related industries is preferred but not required.
