Qualifications

• Recent experience in automobile sales preferred, not required.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to build long-term relationships; discipline and self-motivation.
• Enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on the customer decision-making process.
• Acquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge of every model sold.
• Stay aware of inventory to present appropriate options.
• Greet, engage, and assist every unattended guest in the showroom.
• Enter and maintain customer contact information in the prospect system.
• Lead customers through the decision-making process.
• Identify needs and present suitable vehicles.
• Ensure buyers are shown a tour from showroom to service.
• Introduce to Accessories Department for options.
• Hand off to Finance Manager for paperwork.
• Prepare new vehicle for delivery with installations.
• Familiarize new owner with the vehicle at delivery.
• Follow-up per dealership practice to engage customers.
• Build long-term relationships, repeat business, referrals.
