Qualifications

• 1 year mortgage lending experience with proven production.
• Experience developing external business via referral partners in the market.

Responsibilities

• Complete mortgage applications for submission to the loan processing and underwriting departments.
• Evaluate loan requests, analyze financial data, and determine qualification of collateral and customer credit history.
• Maintain contact with loan customers, communicating progress of loan and obtaining required documentation.
• Structure loan to comply with lending practices and Federal regulations.
• Establish a detailed marketing/business plan including referral networks and frequency of contact.
• Answer customer calls and walk-in customers to discuss loan products and qualification information.
• M ake sales calls to develop new business or retain existing customers and cross-sell bank products.
• Read surveys and appraisals; take steps to correct encroachments and violations.
• Participate in networking through professional organizations to promote loan products.
