Job summary

Regions Bank is seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer to originate residential loans through a branch network. You will evaluate requests, process applications, and build relationships with realtors, builders, and financial planners to drive production.

Position includes a commission-based plan with potential to earn $20,000–$100,000+ annually, depending on location and performance, with benefits and eligibility for Regions plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of mortgage lending experience with proven mortgage production.
• Abundant mortgage experience in developing external business via referral partners (realtors, builders, financial planners)

Responsibilities

• Completes mortgage applications for submission to the loan processing and underwriting departments.
• Evaluates loan requests, analyzes financial data, and determines qualification of collateral and credit history.
• Maintains contact with loan customer and communicates progress; obtains required documents.
• Structures loan to comply with lending practices and Federal regulations.
• Develops marketing/business plans and contacts potential customers and partners.
• Makes sales calls and cross-sells bank products.
• Reads surveys and appraisals and addresses necessary corrections.
• Participates in networking to promote and market loan products.
