Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Commission Analyst in the United States to partner with sales leadership and analytics teams. You will troubleshoot commission questions, review data in Salesforce, Power BI, and Xactly, and drive process improvements through automation and AI-enabled workflows.

You will coordinate with executives and regional teams to ensure accurate payouts, resolve discrepancies, and document business rules. Strong communication and data analysis are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commissions, sales operations, revenue operations, finance analytics, or a related analytical role.
• Strong understanding of sales commissions, crediting concepts, and issue resolution workflows.
• Experience working with Salesforce, Power BI, and Xactly or similar reporting, and analytic tools.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex data or compensation-related issues across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, mediate, and resolve conflict professionally.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
• Proficiency in Excel and general data analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of coordination for commission-related questions, disputes, and troubleshooting.
• Investigate commission issues by reviewing source data, plan logic, transaction history, and reporting outputs.
• Partner with Regional EVPs, MDs, and the Commission team to resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
• Help identify root causes of recurring commission issues and recommend process improvements to reduce future exceptions.
• Support accurate interpretation of commission plans, crediting rules, and payout logic.
• Act as the connective link between business leaders, the Commission team, and Enterprise Data Analytics.
• Translate stakeholder questions into clear analytical requirements and actionable next steps.
• Facilitate alignment across teams when issues involve multiple systems, owners, or points of view.
• Use strong communication and conflict resolution skills to de-escalate sensitive situations and drive productive outcomes.
• Build credibility with field leadership by providing responsive, thoughtful, and data-backed support.
• Leverage Salesforce, Power BI, and Xactly (or similar commission tool) to analyze commission-related data and explain outcomes to stakeholders.
• Validate commission-related reporting and help ensure consistency between operational systems and downstream reporting.
• Monitor trends, anomalies, and exceptions that may impact payouts, reporting accuracy, or stakeholder confidence.
• Partner with Enterprise Data Analytics to improve visibility into commissions, credits, and related performance metrics.
• Document business rules, recurring issues, and resolution patterns to improve organizational knowledge.
• Identify opportunities to streamline commission workflows, issue tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Leverage AI tools to support automation, investigation, summarization, and process efficiency.
• Help design repeatable processes that reduce manual effort and improve response times.
• Contribute to ongoing enhancement of commission-related analytics, governance, and operating rhythms.
