HMSHost is hiring a Commissary Shift Manager at the Fort Lauderdale Airport F&B location. The role oversees daily operations, trains staff, assigns duties, and resolves routine issues to maintain smooth service. This non-exempt position reports to the Commissary Manager or Chef and requires strong people management skills.

Qualifications

• Requires up to 2 years of job-related experience in low volume and/or multi-unit Food and Beverage or food production operations or other related management experience.
• Demonstrates team management, delegation and issue resolution skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the day-to-day activities of non-management associates.
• Assigns work responsibilities and ensures shifts are covered.
• Conducts on-the-job training for associates to ensure basic skills.
• Resolves routine questions and refers complex issues to higher levels.
• Provides recommendations for hiring, firing, advancement or status changes.
