Job summary

General Security Services Corporation in Minnesota is hiring a Commercial Property Security Professional to safeguard client sites and property. This is a part-time role with Sunday and Monday nights from 10:00pm to 6:00am (16 hours per week).

You will observe, patrol, report incidents, monitor CCTV, and respond to inquiries, with training provided to ensure success in duties.

Qualifications

• Prior Security, Military, Law enforcement, or Criminal Justice experience preferred.
• Willingness to undergo paid training to perform effectively.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
• Patrols the site on foot or in a vehicle and checks for hazards and security violations.
• Enforces security regulations per Post Orders and Facility Security Plan.
• Responds to client inquiries promptly.
• Monitors CCTV and alarm systems and takes appropriate action.
• Ensures CCTV/alarm systems are functional where applicable.
• Reacts to emergencies in accordance with Post Orders.
• Generates clear written shift reports.

Security Officer Job Responsibilities:
