Job summary

Old Republic Commercial Risk is seeking a Technical Assistant to support commercial underwriters with processing customer service requests and maintaining accurate information records. You will assist underwriting staff and help rate multi-state new and renewal business, quotes, issues and endorsements.

You'll collaborate with brokers, agents and insureds on complex accounts, ensuring timely paperwork, compliance with guidelines, and accurate documentation to help our team deliver reliable

Qualifications

Minimum five years rating multi-state policies and underwriting support experience.
Knowledge of all commercial line coverages, endorsements, rules and regulations.
Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multitask.
Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain rating manuals and update program changes in logs and guidelines.
Prepare and rate new and renewal commercial policies and endorsements.
Review applications and issue commercial line policies.
Obtain current information from underwriters and assistants to rate, issue, and quote policies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
