Job summary

Old Republic Commercial Risk is seeking a Technical Assistant to support commercial underwriters with processing new and existing customer service requests, while maintaining accurate records and handling multi-state rating, quotes, endorsements, and renewals.

The role focuses on documenting work, coordinating with brokers, agents and insureds, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in rating multi-state policies and commercial insurance underwriting support.
• Knowledge of all commercial line coverages and endorsements.
• Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rating manuals and update program changes.
• Prepare new and renewal policies, audits and endorsements.
• Review applications and issue commercial line policies.
• Obtain current information from Underwriter to rate and issue policies.
• Comply with Company Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
