Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years commercial lines underwriting experience.
• CPCU designation or coursework preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with sound judgment.
• Knowledge of commercial lines products and state regulatory differences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and price commercial risks within underwriting guidelines.
• Partner with agents to manage a complex book of business.
• Mentor other underwriters and support agency management.
• Attend industry workshops and perform other duties.
