Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead planning, coordination, and execution of complex commercial projects including hospitals, churches, retail spaces, and educational facilities. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget while guiding teams and subcontractors to deliver quality work.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in construction supervision, strong knowledge of PROCORE and Viewpoint, and a track record of safety compliance and client collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role.
• Experience managing construction projects in hospitals, churches, retail spaces, and educational facilities.
• Proficient in PROCORE and Viewpoint.
• Strong knowledge of estimating, scheduling, project management, and inspection.
• Excellent delegation while maintaining control of deliverables.
• Familiarity with contract and subcontract documents.

Responsibilities

Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This role is vital to the successful planning, coordination, and execution of our complex commercial construction projects. You will be working on a diverse range of projects including hospitals, churches, retail spaces, and educational facilities. Responsibilities

1. Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing project development from initiation to closure.
2. Be accountable for project results, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
3. Manage all aspects of construction projects, including coordinating workers, materials, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
4. Utilize project management tools such as PROCORE and Viewpoint software to monitor project progress, manage project documentation and ensure project quality.
5. Oversee the delivery of projects, ensuring high levels of quality control, and health and safety are maintained at all times.
6. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of systems and equipment; monitor fire alarm control panels and other emergency equipment.
7. Manage relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
8. Develop and maintain project schedules, estimates, and work plans.
9. Provide guidance, support, and direction to less experienced team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience managing construction projects and renovations in hospitals, churches, retail spaces, and educational facilities.
3. Proficient in construction management and project management software such as PROCORE and Viewpoint.
4. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, scheduling, project management, and inspection.
5. Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining control of project deliverables.
6. High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions.
7. Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record in managing subcontractors.
8. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
9. Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
10. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field is preferred.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
