Job summary

Nash Plumbing and Mechanical is seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Welder to join our team. The role involves performing welding tasks on commercial construction projects, ensuring high-quality, durable, and safe structural components.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, applying SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW on various materials, fabricating and installing structural members, and inspecting welds for quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of commercial welding experience.
• Proficiency in SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welding processes.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specs to select processes.
• Weld on steel, stainless steel, and construction materials using SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW.
• Fabricate and install structural steel components per plans and safety standards.
• Operate welding equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Inspect welds for quality and make repairs as needed.
• Maintain PPE and adhere to safety policies.
• Collaborate with team and project managers on site.
• Record materials used and work performed accurately.
