Job summary

Kotarides Companies is seeking a Commercial Senior Maintenance Technician to maintain retail shopping centers and office buildings in Chesapeake, Virginia. Qualifications

• Minimum 3-year experience in commercial maintenance.
• HVAC Certification Type II or Universal.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record to drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds.
• Assist in monitoring building system operations and performance.
• Utilize multiple trade skills (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling).
• Ensure timely completion of commercial service requests.
• Maintain records of preventative maintenance, service requests and expenditures.
• Maintain knowledge of laws and EPA/OSHA regulations including hazardous materials storage/management.
• Collaborate with commercial team on special projects and tenant build-outs.
• Be available for after-hours on-call and emergency weather events.

Kotarides Companies is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a Commercial Senior Maintenance Technician for our rapidly growing company. The Commercial Senior Maintenance Technician position is responsible for maintaining retail shopping centers and office buildings. Job Type: Full‑time

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds.
• Assists in monitoring building system operations and performance.
• Utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.
• Ensures timely completion of commercial service requests.
• Maintains accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, expenditures, work-in progress, etc.
• Maintains thorough knowledge of pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations including governing storage and management of hazardous materials.
• Work with commercial team to complete special projects and tenant build outs.
• After-hours on call required.
• Be available to report to work during any inclement weather event for property clean up and emergencies.

Pay

• $44.00 per hour
