Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance.
• Comfortable using smartphones/tablets for work orders.
• Knowledge of general maintenance methods and processes.
• Working knowledge of tools, appliances, and common devices.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, and work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems and equipment.
• Service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical devices.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and paint.
• Evaluate maintenance operations and make cost-saving or upgrade recommendations.
• Safely operate tools and equipment used in facility maintenance.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and service requests.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe conditions and preventive maintenance needs.
• Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems, including fire alarms and related equipment.
• Use technology effectively, including smartphones, tablets, computers, and building automation systems.

• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems

• Evaluate maintenance operations and make recommendations for upgrades or cost-saving measures
• Safely operate tools and equipment used in facility maintenance
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and service requests
