Description

TEKsystems is seeking a commercial service technician with strong fire experience to expand our team in MD. The technician will receive a service call schedule weekly, typically handling around 4 tickets daily. Calls vary in duration from an hour to multiple days.

The role includes use of a company vehicle. Candidates should have troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for various security equipment, including systems like Alarm.com, DMP, DSC (832, 1832, Alexor Panel, Impassa, Neo, Qolsys Panel), Bosch Keypad (B930), Honeywell, Concord, Vista, and fire panels such as Silent Knight (6808, 6820) and Potter AFC (1000, 100, IPA 60, IPA 100, IPA 4000V). Experience with motion sensors, door locks, glass break detectors, smoke, and carbon monoxide detectors is required. Fire experience is preferred but not necessary, as training on panels is provided.

Knowledge of system setup, operation, and familiarity with Alarm.com and other systems is essential.

Pay and Benefits
