Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Security Service Technician to maintain and repair electronic security systems for commercial and/or residential clients. The ideal candidate has a strong background in security technology, troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to providing top-tier service to ensure the safety and security of our clients. This position features travel around Washington DC and the DC Metro areas.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, test, and maintain security systems including CCTV, access control, alarm systems, intercoms, and related hardware/software.
• Perform routine maintenance and service calls to ensure proper system functionality and compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues in existing systems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous protection.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and user manuals to determine system configurations and installation specifications.
• Provide on-site client training and technical support for installed systems.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to electronic security systems.
• Collaborate with team members, contractors, and project managers to meet installation timelines and customer expectations.
• Stay updated with the latest security technologies and industry trends.

$30 - $40 an hour
