Job summary

Rick's Custom Fencing & Decking, serving the Pacific Northwest, is expanding its commercial fencing presence in Portland. The role focuses on business development, relationship management, and the seamless transition of opportunities from sales to operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in commercial construction sales with fencing experience and proven ability to sell to GC, developers, and property managers. Base pay is $80K per year with uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' of commercial construction sales, estimating, business development, or related experience
• Commercial fencing experience, strongly preferred
• Experience selling to general contractors, developers, property managers, municipalities, or similar commercial customers
• Ability to read construction drawings, plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Understanding of construction costs and gross margin
• Strong prospecting, relationship-development, and negotiation skills
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Experience using CRM, estimating, takeoff, or construction-related technology
