Job summary

altafiber is seeking a Commercial Sales Representative to drive fiber adoption and revenue growth among Dayton-area businesses, engaging new and existing customers.

You will generate leads, close sales through outbound calls, meetings, and in-person visits, partner with Solutions Engineers to tailor telecom solutions, and maintain a strong sales funnel with regular pipeline updates to the Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Generate leads and close sales through outbound calls, face-to-face meetings, and door-to-door prospecting
• Build and execute strategic sales plans to grow our fiber footprint and increase customer spend
• Partner with Solutions Engineers to design the best technical solutions for each customer
• Maintain an active sales funnel and report on pipeline progress to the Sales Manager
• Communicate value propositions clearly and consultatively to business decision-makers
• Be part of a positive, high-performing team that supports and motivates each other
• Stay on top of market trends and altafiber's evolving suite of services

Education:

• Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Preferred MBA
• 1–3 years of sales experience, ideally in a competitive B2B environment
• Knowledge of telecom services (data, voice, video, networking) preferred
