Description

Role Summary

The Electrify Commercial - Commercial Networks team brings Electrify America's ultra-fast charging expertise to third parties who seek to own and operate their own networks. The primary focus is to capture new revenue through key clients aiming to own and operate ultra-fast charging locations.

This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with property owners, retailers, EV automakers, fueling centers, convenience stores, and gas station stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop proposals, and execute contracts for third-party owned ultra-fast public charging infrastructure. Creating programs that leverage federal grants like NEVI funds will be vital. Building relationships with industry associations is also important.

The candidate will develop strategies, business models, proposals, and contracts with key clients to establish partnerships where Electrify America provides ultra-fast DC fast charging products and services. Interaction with internal managers and directors is expected, along with coordination with the business development team to ensure documentation and metrics tracking. Strong communication, collaboration, and charisma are essential to overcome obstacles and create value chains involving diverse stakeholders.

Role Responsibilities

  • Analyze and develop new business offerings for key clients to accelerate deployment of third-party Electrify America charging stations.
  • Work with the team to optimize NEVI fund utilization by leveraging partnerships.
  • Lead contract negotiations with targeted customers, securing agreements and managing stakeholder buy-in.
  • Manage go-to-market efforts including creating term sheets, defining requirements, negotiating, launching programs, and ongoing communication and reporting.
Qualifications

Experience

  • 7 years of relevant experience in fueling, utilities, automotive, or infrastructure relationship management.
  • 3-5 years in business development, sales, or sales strategy.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • MBA or Master's Degree preferred.

  • Ability to establish credibility with all stakeholder levels.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with analytical and presentation abilities.
