Fluor’s Mission Solutions (Fluor MS) is seeking a highly motivated business growth professional with a proven track record in business development within the Defense markets. The successful candidate will demonstrate success in leading teams that develop operations, training, project management, and program development solutions. Fluor MS aims for strategic growth in the Defense market and seeks an individual to plan, manage, and lead business development campaigns, applying Fluor’s commercial best practices to Defense opportunities. The candidate should have a strong network in the Test, Evaluation, and Range markets and serve as a growth leader for Fluor MS. This role is ideal for a successful business capture and growth leader eager to lead pursuits in a highly competitive sector.

This leadership position involves the development and execution of sales activities for a division, region, or key account. The role includes driving people development and ensuring the implementation of essential sales processes. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies to increase sales and profits, and generating new business.

  1. Manage key accounts and oversee the account management process across various business groups or industry lines.
  2. Promote cross-group support and positioning – “One Fluor”.
  3. Lead a team in developing and executing new business development strategies, building capabilities, and adapting to market changes.
  4. Ensure adherence to Business Development & Strategy (BD&S) Group direction, Commercial Strategy Group, and Fluor corporate and business unit approval processes.
  5. Collaborate with corporate functions such as treasury, tax, legal, and risk during sales pursuits.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.
