Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Commercial Roofing Service Technician to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and provide maintenance for commercial roofing systems across the Western US. This hands-on role offers year-round work with a salary range of $70,000–$90,000 per year and opportunities for advancement.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in commercial roofing, know low-slope roofing systems, and can work independently while maintaining safety. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial roofing experience.
• Experience in service/repair is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and locate roof leaks.
• Knowledge of low-slope commercial roofing systems.
• Comfortable with heights and fall-protection equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose roof leaks and identify water intrusion sources.
• Perform commercial roof repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Complete service calls and emergency repairs.
• Inspect roofing systems and document deficiencies.
• Repair flashing, penetrations, seams, drains and other components.
• Document work with photos and service reports.
• Communicate findings and repair recommendations to customers and internal teams.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures.
• Work independently or with other technicians.
