Job summary

Tecta America, Baltimore, a commercial roofing contractor, is seeking a Commercial Roofing Service Technician to investigate, locate and repair leaks and defects in EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing and low slope metal. You would manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish and ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing roofs with BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC; experience with government installations is a plus; ability to train

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, locate and repair leaks and defects in EPDM, PVC, TPO, BUR and low-slope metal.
• Manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish with emphasis on quality craft and safety.
• Install and repair roofs using BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC.
• Work outdoors in extreme weather, climb ladders up to 60 ft, and lift 50+ lbs.

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Summary

You will be responsible for investigating, locating and repairing leaks and defects in the following commercial roofing systems EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing and low slope metal. You would manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish and ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Responsibilities

• Install and repair roofs with the use of commercial roofing systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen(torch applied), TPO, EPDM, PVC.
• Experience with and ability to perform work on government installations a plus
• Experience working with a tablet a plus (not mandatory, we can train)
• Able to work outside in extreme weather conditions
• Able to lift 50+ lbs with repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
• Comfortable with climbing a ladder up to 60ft and being on a roof
• Perform work to manufacturer's specifications with close attention to safety

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Requirements
