Job summary

Tecta America Southern California is seeking a Commercial Roofing Service Technician in Santa Ana to inspect, locate leaks, and repair a variety of roof systems. You’ll manage projects from start to finish while maintaining high craftsmanship.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years leading roofing crews, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds; strong communication and safety discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews.
• A valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Must be able to work at varying heights and during weather conditions.
• Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisor and co-workers.
• Initiative, integrity, and adaptability.
• Technology savvy.

Responsibilities

• Removal and installation of BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope roofs.
• Roof maintenance and repairs.
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
• Completing required paperwork, attending meetings, assist training of crew members.

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Summary

You will be responsible for investigating, locating and repairing leaks and defects in the following commercial roofing systems EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing and low slope metal. You would manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish and ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Responsibilities

• Removal and installation of all types of roof systems including: BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles)


• Roof maintenance and repairs


• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.


• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.


• Completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, assist in training of crew members as needed
