Job summary

Tecta America Commercial Roofing in Fruitland, MD is seeking a Commercial Roofing Service Technician to inspect, locate, and repair leaks across BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and metal systems.

You will work under the service crew leader, perform installations and maintenance, and ensure safety and quality while interacting professionally with customers in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews.
• A valid driver's license.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisor and co-workers.
• Initiative, Integrity, and Adaptability.
• Technology savvy.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install all types of commercial roof systems (BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, slope metal).
• Roof maintenance and repairs.
• Perform work per job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with customers.
• Manage commercial roofing crew, complete paperwork, attend meetings, assist in training.

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Summary

You will be working under the service crew leader and investigating, locating and repairing leaks and defects in the following commercial roofing systems EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing, Modified Bitumen, and low slope metal.

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Responsibilities

• Removal and installation of all types of commercial roof systems including: BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope metal roof systems


• Roof maintenance and repairs


• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.


• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.


• Manage commercial roofing crew, includes completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, assist in training of crew members as needed

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old


• 1+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews


• A valid driver's license


• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly


• Must be able to work at varying heights and during variety of weather conditions


• Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisor and co-workers.


• Initiative, Integrity, and Adaptability.


• Technology savvy

• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.


• Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting not to exceed 50 pounds
