Job summary

Tecta America Corp. in Santa Ana is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Technician to join our team.

You will investigate, locate, and repair leaks across BUR, EPDM, PVC, TPO and metal systems, and oversee projects from start to finish with craftsmanship. Requirements include 2+ years leading commercial roofing crews, a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and strong client communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience leading commercial roofing crews.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Removal and installation of all roof systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tiles/shingles).
• Roof maintenance and repairs.
• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.
• Complete required paperwork, attend meetings, and assist in training crew members as needed.

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Summary:

You will be responsible for investigating, locating and repairing leaks and defects in the following commercial roofing systems EPDM, PVC, TPO, Built-up Roofing and low slope metal. You would manage commercial roofing projects from start to finish and ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Removal and installation of all types of roof systems including: BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles)


• Roof maintenance and repairs


• Perform work in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines.


• Maintain professional interaction with all customers.


• Completing required paperwork, attending meetings as necessary, assist in training of crew members as needed

Commercial Roofing Service Technician Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old


• 2+ Years experience leading commercial roofing crews


• A valid driver's license with clean driving record


• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly


• Must be able to work at varying heights and during variety of weather conditions


• Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisor and co-workers.


• Initiative, Integrity, and Adaptability.


• Technology savvy.

Working Conditions:

• Physical surroundings: Field environment with exposure to heights, noise and temperature.


• Physical Effort: Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders. Frequent lifting not to exceed 50 pounds


• Travel: Local, up to 1 hour away
