Empire Roofing in Nashville, TN seeks a Commercial Roofing Service Manager to operate and oversee the service department. You’ll ensure safety, on-time delivery, and profitability while prioritizing customer service and coordinating with field crews and office staff.

You’ll lead a 10+ person team, develop a departmental sales plan, and manage projects from proposals to billing, reporting to the President on a monthly basis. Strong roofing knowledge and leadership are essential.

Competenze

• Knowledge of and/or experience with all types of roofing.
• Able to read blueprints and understand specifications.
• Strong computer skills and experience with CRM/SharePoint.
• Strong oral and written communications skills; reports, scopes, proposals.
• Ability to manage a 10+ person department; team leadership.
• Respond to calls within 24 hours.

Mansioni

• Plan, organize, and establish objectives for duties assigned.
• Oversee flow of documents and final invoices or estimates.
• Review estimates, inspections, scopes, proposals, and invoices.
• Monitor and coach subordinates; ensure safety and budget adherence.
• Hire/fire and staffing within guidelines; work with HR.
• Maintain open lines of communication with customers, management, and employees.
• Develop and execute departmental sales plans.
• Attend meetings with owners, managers, and contractors for new work.
• Issue proposals/estimates for service-related work.
• Manage service projects, including labor, materials, meetings, and billing.
• Report monthly financials to the President.
